Terms & withdrawal
1. Scope and seller
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the Sushi und Maki website. The seller is:
CRAFT & VALUE e.U.Stefan Eipeltauer
Josef Höfle-Gasse 34, Stiege 5, Tür 1A
2500 Baden, Austria
hello@sushiundmaki.com
Any conflicting terms of the customer apply only if we expressly agree to them in writing.
2. How the contract is formed
The posters shown on the website are not a binding offer but an invitation to order. Clicking “Buy” takes you to the checkout page of our payment provider Stripe, where you can review and correct your details. By completing payment you submit a binding offer; the contract is concluded as soon as the payment succeeds. You receive a confirmation by email.
The contract languages are English and German. We store the order data; you can view, print or save these terms on this page at any time.
3. Prices and shipping costs
All prices are final prices in euros including statutory VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you complete your order. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, additional customs duties, taxes and fees may apply, which are payable by you.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe using the payment methods offered at checkout (e.g. credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). The purchase price is due when the contract is concluded.
5. Delivery
We deliver within Europe. Delivery takes place within 7 days of receipt of payment to the address given at checkout. Posters are shipped unframed, rolled in a shipping tube. If a poster is temporarily unavailable, we will inform you immediately and refund any payment made on request.
6. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid in full.
7. Warranty
The statutory warranty rights apply; for consumers in particular the Austrian Consumer Warranty Act (VGG). Please report obvious transport damage to us as soon as possible — this does not affect your statutory rights.
The lenticular effect is an optical effect: how clearly the cat waves depends on viewing angle, distance and light. Colours may differ slightly from how they appear on your screen.
8. NFC chip and online features
Every poster contains an NFC chip storing one of our web addresses. Features that let you change where this address leads or leave a gift message are in development. They form part of the contract only if they are expressly offered as available at the time of your order. Customers are responsible for any content they link to or upload themselves.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage only in cases of intent and gross negligence. This does not apply to personal injury, nor where mandatory statutory provisions (such as product liability law) provide otherwise.
10. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Withdrawal information
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (CRAFT & VALUE e.U., Josef Höfle-Gasse 34, Stiege 5, Tür 1A, 2500 Baden, Austria, email:hello@sushiundmaki.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence. For businesses, the place of jurisdiction is the competent court in Baden, Austria.
12. Dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If anything goes wrong, just write to us — we’ll find a solution.
